Description
The stadium-style track at Lichtenvoorde played host to the leading stars at the 1988 Dutch 500cc Motocross GP - David Thorpe, rival Erik Geboers, Kurt Nicoll, Kees Van der Ven and Mark Banks gave stunning performances and thrilled the crowds. There were setbacks for some riders and surprising advances for others, and the sandy conditions were made worse by the heavy rain that fell during the interval. So what was the outcome?
