Le Mans Virtual Series - Round 3: Nürburgring Nordschleife Highlights

The third round of the Le Mans Virtual Series, 8 Hours of Nürburgring, is now complete.

After a wet qualifying, where Jernej Simončič put the championship-leading #4 Floyd ByKolles-Burst LMP car on pole position, and in GTE the #92 Porsche Esports Team entry headed the field after a stunning lap by Joshua Rogers, the race remained dry and sunny.

There was high drama throughout the field, with the 154-corner Nordschleife living up to its reputation. The narrow confines of The Green Hell meant managing lapped traffic was the key to success, with several drivers and teams coming unstuck.

The race boiled down to a thrilling strategic battle, with Team Redline’s leading #123 entry pitting at different times to the rest of the LMP field, and having a fierce battle with the #4 Floyd ByKolles-Burst car.
