Description

F1 has announced that from 2026, the Spanish GP will be held at a brand-new hybrid street circuit in Madrid for 10 years. But having seen Formula 1 previously try to migrate the Spanish GP circuit to Valencia in 2013, which ended up failing entirely, is Madrid's Spanish GP set to fail as well? Or has F1 learnt from history, and will Madrid be a golden race for Spain? And what about the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya's muddy future? Sam Hall and Jon Noble discuss all these points and more.
