Zhou's crash may have looked terrifying, however thankfully, F1's safety features made sure that Zhou escaped fit and healthy. Looking at the Alfa Romeo C42's destroyed roll hoop though, the primary "flip" safety feature, it looks like the roll hoop failed and didn't save Zhou compared to the halo. But is that actually correct? We take a look at imagery of the awful crash to decide what the important factors were in Zhou's Silverstone GP crash.
