Description

Seventy thousand fans gathered at Misano to watch Round Five of the '91 World Championship GP. Cagiva-mounted hero Eddie Lawson rocketed into the lead from Wayne Rainey (Yamaha), Mick Doohan (Honda) and John Kocinski (Yamaha). A nail-biting race followed with the top contenders slugging it out lap after lap. The 250 class provided 20 heart-stopping laps of unbeatable action culminating in a finish line jostle as Luca Cadalora and Helmut Bradl slammed their Hondas together. In the Sidecar series Steve Webster and Gavin Simmons appeared unbeatable. All in all, this was a GP packed with memorable racing - well worth reliving in this great review!
